The statewide Advisory Council is a group of employers and employees from the private and public sectors and the field of education who advise the Employ Florida Banner Center for Energy on the design, development, implementation, evaluation, maintenance, and revision of workforce education programs within the energy industry. The Banner Center Advisory Council members are the strategic link to the energy industry and the community.
The purpose of the advisory council is to provide assurance, through technical assistance and resources, that:
(1) Training program curriculum meets the needs of business, industry, labor, occupations, technical trades, and the community it is designed to serve, and
(2) Training program graduates are capable of performing entry-level, advanced and upgraded skills in the occupation in which they are trained.
